Rivne Vocational Lyceum
Rivne Vocational Lyceum is a state educational institution of the second certification level, which is part of the education system of Ukraine, ensuring the implementation of the needs of citizens in obtaining professional education, mastering working professions and qualifications in accordance with their interests, abilities, health status and social order of society.
Rivne Vocational Lyceum was founded in 1966 as an institution of metalworking. During its existence, it has graduated more than 25 thousand graduates.
Rivne Vocational Lyceum trains qualified workers from among graduates of general educational institutions on the basis of complete and basic general secondary education in 10 professions, most of which are integrated, in accordance with the Certificate of Attestation RD No. 040406 dated 07/16/2015, the decision of the accreditation commission dated 07/24/2015, protocol No. 118 https://rpl.rv.ua/regulations/ :
• General machine operator;
• Electric and gas welder. Body straightener;
• Electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment;
• Wheeled vehicle repair mechanic. Driver of motor vehicles category B;
• Wheeled vehicle repair mechanic. Driver of motor vehicles categories B, C;
• Electrician for repair of wheeled vehicles (on motor vehicles). Tire fitter;
• Information processing and software operator;
• Hairdresser (hairdresser-fashion designer);
• Hairdresser (hairdresser-fashion designer). Make-up artist;
• Hairdresser (hairdresser-fashion designer). Manicurist.
The educational and production process is provided by 70 teaching staff, including: 4 management staff, 2 methodologists, 1 senior master, 31 masters of industrial training, 4 group leaders, 4 educators, 1 practical psychologist, 1 social pedagogue, 1 head of physical education, 21 teachers, including: 3 – social and humanitarian training, 4 – natural and mathematical training, 2 – physical training, 2 – general professional training, 10 – professional and theoretical training. 43 teaching staff have more than eight years of teaching experience, 6 employees – three years or less. The average age of employees is 25-40 years.
The educational institution is designed for 596 students.
Two educational and practical centers operate on the basis of the Rivne Vocational Lyceum:
1. Educational and practical center “Art-studio of beauty”
2. Educational and practical center “Center for metal processing”
Educational and practical centers provide training, retraining, advanced training and internship services.
3. Qualification center for assigning and/or confirming the relevant professional qualifications Hairdresser/Hairdresser-stylist.
International cooperation:
• 2022-2023 participation in the EU4Skills project together with the German Society for International Cooperation “GIZ” “Professional Integration of IDPs” for training under a short-term program in the profession “Electrician/Electrical fitter” (30 students completed training and received certificates of assignment of working qualifications).
• 2023-2024 participation in the project “Development of Labor Potential for Ukraine”, implemented with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Project “Economic Support for Ukraine” for training under the short-term program for the profession “Electric and Gas Welder (25 students completed the training and received the relevant certificates);
• 2024-2025, training under the short-term program “Make-up Artist from Scratch” was conducted on the basis of the educational and practical center “Art Beauty Studio”. The training was made possible thanks to the partners of the Empowering Women In Rivne Region project.
• 2024-2025, creation of the educational and practical center “Metal Processing Center”. Implementation is possible thanks to the victory in the project of the Ministry of Education and Science “One Hundred Workshops”.
